Meet Jody Dodson

Jody Dodson is a DFW-based artist known for her signature handcrafted, three-dimensional artworks made from wood and clay. Each piece is meticulously crafted by hand, resulting in one-of-a-kind works celebrated for their precision, texture, and sculptural depth. 

Raised by a builder father who instilled in her a love of natural materials and the tools that shape them, Jody developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship. What began as heartfelt creations for family and charitable organizations quickly evolved into a distinctive artistic voice. 

A transformative chapter in her life – caring for her husband and daughter after a near-fatal accident – ultimately led her to pursue a more meaningful path. With encouragement from trusted friends, she left her corporate career in early 2025 to devote herself fully to her art. Since then, Jody has enjoyed a thriving practice with a steady stream of commissions and an ever-growing community of collectors.
